Warrior Surf Foundation’s 8th Annual Surfboard Auction & Raffle

Nonprofit Warrior Surf Foundation (WSF) will host its 8th Annual Surfboard Auction & Raffle on Saturday, August 31, from 5 to 10 p.m. at Bohemian Bull on James Island. Proceeds will go towards WSF’s Surf Therapy Program, which provides 12 weeks of free surf therapy, yoga, wellness classes and community to Veterans struggling with PTSD and other mental health challenges.

WSF is now accepting bids on a one-of-a-kind surfboard from Jimmy Buffett’s collection, a Kelly Slater signed board and more at https://warriorsurf.rallyup.com/8surfauction/Campaign/Details. The fun doesn’t stop there, though, as WSF will also be raffling off items like a hand-shaped board from Mike O’Loughlin at O’Lou Surfboards, a LiftFoil surf foil board kit, a hand-shaped board from Tim Jump at Secula Surf, a Charleston County Parks Gold Pass, a Gary Wilson surfboard from Ocean Surf Shop and more. Admission to the event costs $35/person and includes dinner, two drinks and access to live music and vendors. Children 12 and under are free. WSF is also introducing a new Jimmy Buffett (JB) look-alike contest this year to celebrate his legendary life and music.
