Exclusive Storeroom Tour: Swimsuits and Sunglasses

Splash into history with a behind the scenes tour of swimsuits and sunglasses from the Historic Textiles collection with Curator of Historic Textiles Virginia Theerman. You’ll have a chance to stay cool in the temperature controlled storeroom and learn about changing trends in activewear from the late 19th century through the 21st!

Enjoy light refreshments starting at 5:00 pm before the tour commences.

Registration is required and space is extremely limited. Participants must be able to climb stairs. *Please contact bdalesandro@charlestonmuseum.org or call 843-722-2996 ext. 235 if accommodations for stairs are needed.

Cancellations must be requested 48 hours in advance for a refund minus $10 administration fee.  Full registration fee may be transferred to other adult programs.  Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in a forfeiture of tour fee.
