Lowcountry Artists Gallery presents new oil paintings by Norma Morris Cable for the month of March in an exhibit entitled “Get Over It.” Cable’s inspiration for this series began with a scene of a storm approaching Charleston’s iconic Ravenel Bridge and followed with more depictions at different times of day and times of the year. An opening reception will be held at Lowcountry Artists Gallery, 148 East Bay Street, on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 5-8 PM. Admission is free and all are welcome. Light refreshments will be served and the artist will be in attendance.

Norma is a Carolina Lowcountry native. Growing up on Sullivan’s Island and presently residing on the Isle of Palms, she is totally immersed in coastal living. After nearly 40 years with BellSouth, she is now pursuing her passion, painting the beauty that surrounds us. She invites you to let her be your “guide” to the treasures of Lowcountry Living. She was inspired by her high school art teacher, Virginia Fouche’ Bolton, and follows her lead in giving thanks to our Lord, the greatest painter of all, by incorporating a cross in her signature.
