Brave New World is the most recent series of Geter’s large scale charcoal drawings, and accompanying found art sculptures, focusing on families and mostly children and the inherited burden of the climate crisis. Geter’s work shows both the harsh truth of the subject’s reality of bearing the brunt of this burden, as well as their strength and power to adapt, providing the audience with a sense of awe of their strength and with their evolution and hope for our collective future.
