Natural Wonders

Charleston artist Lisa Willits invites viewers to pause and look upward in her newest exhibition, Natural Wonders. Known for her luminous oil paintings of the Lowcountry, Willits captures the beauty and drama of the natural world with bold color and expressive brushwork.

This collection celebrates moments of awe—sweeping skies alive with shifting light, rainbows arching over quiet marshes, waves cresting and tumbling along the coast, and sunsets ablaze with vibrant hues. Each canvas radiates a sense of wonder, reminding us of the extraordinary gifts found in ordinary days.

With Natural Wonders, Willits continues her exploration of the ever-changing landscape, offering scenes that are both deeply familiar and endlessly inspiring.

An Opening Reception will be held on Friday, October 3, from 5-8 P.M. during the Charleston Gallery Association Art Walk.  The exhibit will be on view from October 1-31, 2025.
