The 2025 Charleston Duck Race
The Charleston Charity Duck Race returns to the Wando River on Saturday, June 14, bringing back its iconic 30,000-duck river drop and expanding into a carnival-style festival at Daniel Island’s Waterfront Park. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Daniel Island, the event includes games, food vendors, live music, and family fun from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with the duck drop set for around 11:10 a.m. Ducks, each tagged with RFID, will race with cash prizes up to $10,000. The event aims to raise over $215,000 for local and global charities, continuing its tradition of giving since 2007, with over $2.5 million raised to date.
