Old South Carriage Company has been family owned and operated since 1983 when founder David Compton started touring guests with just three horses and a single carriage. Now, 40 years later, they’ve given carriage tours in Charleston, SC to thousands of guests from all over the world.
They pride ourselves on delivering an authentic, Old South experience that our guests enjoy every time they join us for a horse carriage tour. These memorable, horse-drawn carriage rides have been improved over the decades, however, with state-of-the-art carriages that are built for comfort and seat 16 passengers.
