Episode #2 – Riley Waterfront Park – Charleston, SC
About Riley Waterfront Park:
Today we’re at Riley Waterfront Park. The park is a favorite destination of visitors and locals alike and is a great place to relax, experience panoramic view of the Charleston harbor.
Waterfront Park was renamed Riley Waterfront Park in 2015 to honor Joe Riley, the city’s Mayor who served for 40 years.
The two large fountains located here are some of the most photographed landmarks in the city.
A beautiful pier extends into the Cooper River and provides sheltered family-sized swings and picturesque harbor views. At the end of the pier you can hop on the Charleston Water Taxi, a ferry that will take you to Patriots Point in Mount Pleasant and back.
